New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that her state was facing acute financial crisis due to the Left Front which had been in power for 34 years.ÂÂ
Mamata said, “We don’t have money for any development projects like roads, BPL cards and others. Other states don’t have the same situation like our state.”
“I will not speak about the Prime Minister’s opinion. I have met the Prime Minister 10 times, Finance Minister 20 times, but nothing has changed.”
“We believe
some solution will come out, if not, then we will fight it politically from state,” said Mamata.
She also refused to reveal her cards on the President poll, saying that the election was still a couple of months away. “Our options are all open on presidential election. There is enough time,” she said.
